Rooted in our Community. Proven Leadership. Strong Financial Stewardship

Community First.
A proud local voice working for you
Meet Catherine
I am ready to listen. Ready to work. Ready to deliver.
I was born, raised and educated in St. Catharines. As a fourth-generation Niagaran, this community shaped who I am and gave me the foundation for a career that would eventually take me around the world.
For more than 30 years, I have led complex projects, managed major budgets and worked with governments, businesses and communities across 12 countries.
Now I want to bring that experience home.
I am running for St. Catharines City Council because I believe our city has tremendous potential. But realising that potential requires leadership that listens, responsible management of taxpayers’ money and practical solutions to the challenges facing our neighbourhoods.
A councillor’s first responsibility is to the people they represent.
If elected, I will work to be an accessible and responsive representative for Ward 2.
- I will listen before making decisions.
- I will explain where I stand and why.
- I will treat taxpayers' money with the same discipline I have applied to the budgets I have managed throughout my career.
- I will work constructively with other councillors, City staff, community organizations and other levels of government when collaboration can deliver better results.
- And I will never forget that City Council exists to serve the community, not the other way around.
My Pledge is simple:

Catherine and I attended high school together at Denis Morris, and over the past 10 years, we became reacquainted through mutual friends. There is no doubt she has big shoes to fill as Joe Kushner retires, but I am confident she is up to the challenge. Her background and experience will provide a fresh voice at St. Catharines City Hall. From my perspective, Catherine is a good listener, a strong advocate, and highly strategic. She will work hard for the residents of Ward 2 and deliver real results. I fully support Catherine’s candidacy and I encourage you to vote for her in October.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Catherine for over three decades, and it comes as no surprise that she's decided to give back to her community. Since establishing our new factory in the Niagara Region last year, I've spent a significant amount of time in the area and have witnessed its vast potential for growth and investment. Catherine's extensive business experience and boundless energy make her an ideal candidate to serve the city of St. Catharines. I wholeheartedly endorse her candidacy for City Council.

I have known Catherine for more than 20 years and have had the privilege of working with her on numerous international projects across different countries and cultures.
Throughout that time, I have seen first-hand her ability to listen, bring people together, navigate complex challenges and turn ideas into results.
What distinguishes Catherine most, however, is not simply her extensive professional experience, but the compassion and integrity she brings to everything she does. She genuinely cares about people and takes the time to understand their perspectives before making decisions.
Catherine combines international experience and proven leadership with a deep commitment to the community she calls home. I am confident that St. Catharines and the residents of Ward 2 will benefit enormously from her experience, energy and determination to make a positive difference.
